I have used the Cart2Cart migration a few times, when I haven't bothered the hassle with existing free scripts for different webshop solutions, or making my own.

I haven't had time to test it for OC 1.5/2.0 to Arastta yet, but if someone are struggling with a migration, or sitting on the fence waiting, it might be worth checking it out using the available OC to OC options. There is a free demo possibility.

OC 1.x to Arastta 1.x: http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/shopping-cart-migration-options/migration-by-version/48951-opencart-upgrade-to-2
OC 2.x to Arastta 1.x: http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/shopping-cart-migration-options/878-opencart-to-opencart-migration

If anyone tests it, please let us now how it went.

Also I encourage people to contact Cart2Cart support, to ask for specific Arastta support. I'm sure they will add it, if there is a demand for it.

I remember Denis had sent them a request. You can also ask them as users to implement Arastta, that will force them.

I got around and tested a Migration from Zen Cart 1.5 to Arastta yesterday, and sadly it failed.
They do somehow check the software and version being installed, and found it not to be OpenCart 2 (unrecognised).
Will see later sometime, if it's possible to trick that check, to tell the check it's OpenCart 2.0.3 instead of Arastta ...

Btw! They can do it like a custom work for now, but it costs quite much extra then.

    Hi guys!

Thank you so much for reaching out to us! ...and your persistence in doing so ;)

Since we’ve been observing a growing interest in Arastta lately, there’s some good news we’d be happy to share with you - Arastta is now on the list of Planned Platforms!

Practically, it means that we are currently collecting requests for migration to Arastta, like the one you could fill in here: http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/possible-shopping-cart-migrations/60674-opencart-to-arastta-migration

We’re also having negotiations with the Arastta at the moment and really hope it’ll end up fruitfully, leading to a close cooperation.

Nonetheless, don’t be shy and let us know if there’s any way we could help you! http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/contact

    Always Yours,
    Cart2Cart Team

    Dear Cart2Cart Team,

Maybe you should consider talking with your support staff before going public, as a cost request sent from that 'OpenCart to Arastta' form was responded to with this:

    Thank you for your message.

Please note that we do not support migrations to Arastta cart.

Here is a list of carts we support so maybe you are interested: http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/supported-carts

    Thank you

    Just saying ... ;)

Whoops! That’s definitely not the answer you expected to receive, isn’t it? :)

Please, accept our apologies for that silly misunderstanding, Rune. As we’ve already stated in our second reply to your ticket, the negotiations with Arastta are still on the early stage, so not all of our staff is informed on the matter. Unfortunately our support manager Inna was unaware of that too.

Please, check your ticket again for the details.

    Best Wishes,
    Cart2Cart Team

    Thanks,

Yes, I surely got surprised and confused by the first reply.
The second is quite clear though, let's see what we can do together.
