This new release is named Tianjin which is a metropolis in northern coastal Mainland China and one of the five national central cities of the country. We would like to thank everyone who contrubitued to Arastta 1.6 with bug reports, tests, suggestions and development.

Now, let's see what we have new in this update:

eCommerce releated

Blog: One of the most wanted and awaited features for Arastta is finally ready. Now, you have a fully functional blog feature in Arastta. Create nested categories, blog posts and tag them. One post can be assigned to one or multiple categories. And 3 different menu types are available in the menu manager: Blog home, category, post.

Stripe payment gateway: A new payment gateway is added to the Arastta marketplace. If you want to have Stripe as a payment gateway on your store, you can install it with one-click and start to sell.

"Products" module enhancements: Products module was added to the core in Arastta 1.5 version and it's one of the most welcomed features among the users. Now we have added ability to display "all" products from your store. Of course you can define the number of displayed products and even you can filter to display all products from a specific category.

Added common pages to URL Manager

Multilingual eCommerce is one of the most important features that we always keep in mind for Arastta while improving it. Thus, we have added system's common links, like Cart, Checkout, account, register, login, contact etc pages, to the Arastta's URL Manager page. So, now you can translate your system's common URLs to all languages available on your store from the URL Manager.

Installer

Internationalization of demo data: Arastta has translations for world languages, so users can use it in their own language easily. But till now, when Arastta is installed, it's loaded with default English demo content for Order Statuses, Email Templates etc. From now on it's possible to translate all these content in to the other languages and Arastta will be installed with those translations out of the box.

Security

CSRF validation in catalog: With 1.6 version, Arastta became a more secure platform with implementing CSRF protection for various inputs used in the different pages. You can define those inputs and routes from the Security tab in Arastta's Settings page.

General

HTTPFul, a new HTTP client: Httpful is a simple, chainable, readable PHP library intended to make speaking HTTP sane. It lets the developer focus on interacting with APIs instead of sifting through curl set_opt pages and is an ideal PHP REST client.

How to update?

Updating your current Arastta store to the latest 1.6 version is very easy and it must be updated smoothly.
