Today, it's update time for Arasttians! Arastta 1.5 [Nairobi] is released with tons of new features and bug fixes. Aratta is more powerful now.

This release is named Nairobi which is the capital and largest city of Kenya. We would like to thank everyone who contrubitued to Arastta 1.5 with bug reports, development, suggestions and tests.

Pre-order for Stock Statuses

Option to allow pre-ordering of products which has 0 (zero) stock. Just enable pre-order option for the desired stock status(es) and you customers can pre-order them.

URL (Redirect) Manager

You can manage your Arastta stores URLs from URL Manager by changing or redirecting them. Of course, as always, this feature is multilingual, too.

Graphics for Reports Pages

Data is the king! But if you cannot read it, it's nothing. So, now you can easily view your reports pages by graphics. It's possible to filter graphs with different filters (data range etc).

Products module

"One module to rule them all!" Thanks to new Products module, you can display your products with different variations. Now, you don't need different modules (Featured, Special etc).

We know that it was a pain that you don't have control over displaying module elements like product name, image or add-to-cart button. Now, you can choose whether to display each element.

New extension types

New and useful extensions types added to Arastta core:

• Captcha (Google reCaptcha and Basic captcha available)
• Analytics (Google Analytics and Woopre available)
• Anti-Fraud (MaxMind available)

SEO Preview and Settings in Basic Mode

Basic Mode is designed to ease eCommerce for everyone. Especially, new users may not have a knowledge about meta informations like description and title. So, now Arastta displays a Google result preview for SEO informations and it's possible to edit and preview the changes on-the-fly.

Of course, this feature is available multilingual, too.

Cache Manager

List all cache records and manage them from the one page. Just navigate to Tools > Cache Manager and manage your caches.

Model and SKU for Options (new extension)

What if you have different SKU and model data for each options? It's not a problem, no more! Now you can install brand new Arastta extension and apply different model and SKU data for each product options. This extension will be developed and new features will be added in the future.

How to update?

Updating your current Arastta store to the latest 1.5 version is very easy and it must be updated smoothly.

Then you can update it via Update center in admin panel. For more information refer to Update documentation.
