robots.txt just tells the robot's where to find it, it doesn't tell to show or not.To speed up the process you can manually add the sitemap(s) in Google Search Console and similar for Yahoo etc

Not sure what text file you mean .... But normally it's enough with the main link, as it includes both products and categories. If you want to separate it, and maybe have smaller sitemaps, you can use the separated ones. But search and read on the topics, don't take my word on it blindly - I'm not a SEO guru.

Thanks for sharing the links. I don't understand it but it is being seen now. It wasn't before and probably because I didn't have the robots.txt file setup.

Should I be adding the /product_feeds to the text file as well?

I guess that's what I don't understand. I have it activated but I don't have a google_sitemap.xml in my root directory. Does arastta create this or do I need to use a sitemap generator?

If it's not activated yet, you have to do it, before publishing the url into Google/Robots.txt
