Is a google sitemap auto generated by arastta? I can't find it and I get an error when I search for it in google.
If I go to extensions and look in the google sitemap section I only see my website address

robots.txt just tells the robot's where to find it, it doesn't tell to show or not.To speed up the process you can manually add the sitemap(s) in Google Search Console and similar for Yahoo etc
Not sure what text file you mean .... But normally it's enough with the main link, as it includes both products and categories. If you want to separate it, and maybe have smaller sitemaps, you can use the separated ones. But search and read on the topics, don't take my word on it blindly - I'm not a SEO guru. -

Please take a look at the documentation: https://arastta.org/docs/user-manual/extensions/feeds
If it's not activated yet, you have to do it, before publishing the url into Google/Robots.txt
