Hi,

New to arastta and I am so far loving it. Great product.

I am trying to enable filters in my site, i.e the filter options you apply to a product and can then show the filter menu on the category page to show sub options.

I have enabled the module, but I do not see a filter menu option under the Categories menu in admin, and no filter interface appears on the products in admin either.

Looking at the docs it clearly shows a filter menu option under Catalog, and I dont have it.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction of what I may be missing here?

Update Issue:

I am using Aristta 1.5.5 ( I have tried to update to the new release but it just throws an error saying Update process has failed, please, try again.)

I am running this on localhost on a windows machine for dev purposes, permissions are correct in regards to write privilges so its all a bit of a mystery to me why it would fail.

Many thanks for a wonderful product.

    For any other silly person like myself who find this, its a menu toggle on top right for basic/advanced.

    I have the same issue. Don't like the Advanced view so I have to switch to Basic view constantly.
    I haven't seen a setting in the store to set a default view yet so I don't have to change it on every visit.

    Hi Darren,

    It's great that you found the solution.

    @Breck:
    Arastta remembers your choice per admin user, so you shouldn't have to switch the modes each time. Once you switch to one mode (basic or advanced) it's saved for that user and remembered next time you visit.

    @Enes

    Actually I am using Chrome and I have to log in on every visit. it automatically shows the admin area in Basic mode.
    It's isn't remembering that I set it to Advanced mode. I had to do it all the time.
    But with your reply, I checked in the User Profile, and I set it to Advanced there and we are good now.
    Should have thought of that sooner.

    Please look closer at all settings, go through all menus etc., to make yourself familiar with the system. ;)

    The way it was explained, it sounded like if the user changes it in the top right corner, it saves and remembers that setting.

    That is browser and setting dependent. Still you said there was no settings, while it's available in two places. ;)
