Gary, you can disable them from Localisation => Zones page https://arastta.org/docs/user-manual/localisation/zones

Denis thank you for the reply.

Takes to long to disable, I had the guy just delete. It cost to many $$$ to have him take the time to disable. Also you can not remove a Country until you disable/remove the Zone, More $$$ spent.:(

A download version of Arastta with just the United Kingdom and maybe United States Enabled/ON and ALL other Countries and Zones Disabled/Off would save a company whole lot of time and money or build a better way to disable Countries and Zones.

Imho! A bulk option to disable/activate zones, countries etc. from lists is a must, and it's weird it's not there.

Also I would anyhow prefer if all except stores country (and this countries zones) is disabled by default after installing, a quite big percent of shops doesn’t ship outside own country anyway, at least not the startups.

Btw! Those lists should anyway display the status for each, having to check/handle them one by one is a nightmare. ;)

    Hello,

Regarding this, would it be possible to add exclusions, for example:

For Spain, I wish it was possible to create a Geo-Zone named Peninsula. In this Geo-Zone, I would like to add all zones (with "All Zones"), as can be already done at the moment, and it is very handy, but I would like to exclude just a couple of zones (two provinces for the Canary Islands). So instead of having to add all Spanish provinces, except 2, I was wondering if it would be possible to add all, and exclude 2 (that don not have normal 21% Spanish VAT).

Maybe this is a totally wrong approach of the Geo-Zones utility?!

Many thanks in advance and kind regards from Spain,

    Alb

I was actually thinking about the exact same issue last day. :)

Anyhow I think it's possible to override a tax handling, by using the priority setting. Meaning you can sett normal tax for all zones, and then just add the other one with the "exclusions" with higher priority and t.ex. 0% tax.

Haven't tested this yet, but I think it should work. :)

    Hi Rasmussen,

    Thank you for your reply!

I have not been able to make it work what you suggest:

1.- I have created a test account with address in the Canary Islands. When I browse the site not logged in, I see the prices of the products with normal 21% VAT. ok
2.- If I stablish 0% VAT to 0 priority and 21% VAT to 1 priority, when I log in and browse the site I can see prices with 0% VAT - ok!
3.- If I add product to the basket and proceed to the purchase the 21% VAT is added.
4.- If I set 0% VAT to 1 priority and 21% VAT to 0 priority, in the website I always get prices with 21% VAT.

Many thanks and kind regards from Spain,

    Well,

I think that in fact it is random.

I redid my previous test and it kind of change the result everytime?!

Also, in both cases, after addind it to the basket and proceed with the purchase, if you come back to browse the shop the prices are back to 21%, even you are still logged in?!

Many thanks and kind regars from Spain,

What about testing priority 1 and 2, and changing between those, after clearing browser cache?

Ok, I'll see if I can get some time to test it sometime myself.
But I wonder, you added them as separate tax rates I guess. But did you add them to the same tax class, or separated tax classes?

    Hi Rasmussen,

Sorry for my very slooow reply.

Were you able to do some test?

I added the 2 taxes as separate taxes, and then I added the 2 to the same tax class?! Is this incorrect?

Many thanks and kind regards from Spain,

    Alberto
