Unable to install any extensions as I keep getting a json error.

I am unable to install as I keep getting a json error.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

    Fixed. ZIP wasn't installed so that resolved it.

    I did and this site came up with an error. Something I posted triggered some safety blocker I think.
    I'll get back to you in a minute. Checking something out.

    The error was fatalerror call to undefined function zip)open() line 817.

    I checked and ZIP was disabled. Working on installing it now.

    Please, if you get an error, post it so people don't have to use their magical crystal ball. ;)
    Also version of Arastta, and what extension it is you try to install (name and link).
