There is next to no support for the modules that were added by Arastta.
They were copied and modified slightly but were not tested and just thrown up.
Instead of fixing them or removing the broken ones, they leave them there and then complain when people come on the forum looking for help.
If they are Arastta submitted modules, you would think they would be more willing to provide a fix for it so everyone has a working module.

Do you know who "they" are Daniel, and do you honestly know anything at all about the project?
Me for example is just a user an contributor, in several projects. Arastta is only one of them, and I have no influence on it beyond my simple contributions and inputs (feedback).
You registered a few days ago, just to complain about the project etc it seems, are you even a user yourself - or just a OC dev or something else? Do you have a live webshop or two built on Arastta? Oh, and if coming from OC, you should be used to harsh replies, being yelled at and named moron and worse.
Edit! By the way did quit many of the OC extensions have issues when they was ported by the core team, and they still have, in both systems/projects. It's way to many core "supported" extensions, for the core teams to keep track of.
Beyond that, yes I fully agree there is extensions that is way to badly tested, if tested at all. And yes, if they don't work or get support, they should be removed asap.
But then again, project like this need contributors reporting and/or fixing stuff. Not just complainers expecting everything to be 100% for free. -

Yes I am running several Arastta stores.
I can read the posts here to gather an opinion from what others have said that support is lacking.
You from what I can see are the only support that helps frequently, but you are not part of the Arastta team who should be doing more.
I have nothing to do with OC and have never used OC. I jumped from an old Interspire e-commerce store directly to Arastta.
I like it and have to accept it's flaws because very little is done to fix the issues even after they have been reported for months or years.
And nobody is expecting it for free. The modules were posted as free so how is that expected?
Anyways, it would be nice to see more than just you providing support on a regular basis. -

I really do agree, and I'm hoping that you will continuing doing your part from now on, as you now have cared to registered as a user on those sites. And hopefully more will follow.

Yes, we can. But then we can't claim it's being exactly so, as people have different views on things. Some would claim such things after a few hours waiting. Still it's indeed true that support and follow ups mostly sucks these days.

Well, as just a few has shared any code improvements, or hired anyone to fix anything, it seems like that is expected. Also not many paying for extensions. Like the GDPR which seemed very important to some, but none has ordered the one being worked on and made available. And then, why should anybody care to make anything, paid or free ...
Also most just care about their own things, very few one replies to others issues, even if they know the answer, and thus it becomes a one way road.
I'm not happy with the situation at the moment, both regarding core team and users. But hopefully that will change soon.
