I was looking for a way to use this item in the database... At first glance it seems this would allow me to add some custom fields to an order and show them on the admin, however I did a code search for the table and it doesn't show up in the default install.

My main goal is to add some more details to the payment tab on order info... I looked at triggers but did not see a trigger for this area (I could have missed it) and I also looked at regular custom fields, but as far as the usage goes I don't really understand them and they don't have an order ID associated with it so my presumption is that they are global values for all orders?

Anyways, if anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful... My open cart module had to resort to some tricky JS in order to change this page which happened to not work in IE, so I was looking for an alternative method here.
