Hi,

Most of the time I'm struggling with the install from marketplace in admin, getting a "File could not be downloaded!"

Server running PHP 5.5.30, all folders writable, cURL and allow_url_fopen on/enabled etc.

Any idea how to debug it?

I remember I had forwarded this to Burak, the creator of Marketplace but can't see any reply here. Where are you Burak?

This is still a issue on some servers, any progress on it?

    Hi Rune,

This error comes from the following files:
    admin/controller/extension/installer.php line 691
As you can see, the file could not be downloaded from arastta.io.

If you send me arastta.io link via PM, I'll check the issue. So, we can see that this issue's do with the servers or arastta.io.

If you mean a link to extension failing, it's all. And it surely is related to servers, but we need to find out what the issue is, and probably display a meaningful error message so users can get servers adjusted when needed. And also add the needed check to server info page, if it's not there already. I'll add you to a PM soon, giving you access to site/server, as I'm not sure how to debug this.

Btw! Shouldn't this and similars better be a https: https://github.com/arastta/arastta/blob/master/admin/controller/extension/installer.php#l684
