Is there a guide on how to update arastta manually? I'm using godaddy webhosting and updating always fails, I won't ask them to change their settings as I know my request will get denied. So I have to ask about a manual update method.

Hello,

That is so simple, first unzip files on local, delete the "install" folder, and then upload all files of the new version.
Do not forget to get a backup before upgrading:

Best Regards.

So it's really just copy the new files over the old ones?

Which version are you currently using nightstyke? You may also need to apply changes from the following one:
    https://github.com/arastta/arastta/blob/master/install/update.php

By the way, you may also consider the new Arastta Cloud service: https://arastta.com/faq

How would you apply the update manually, just run the php script?
I've considered it, but the issue is webhosting is paid up for an entire year with an SSL certificate. I don't mind doing manual route as long as someone can tell me how.

Running the script directly is not possible. What is your current version?

I did the method Gilbert said to go from i think 1.24 to 1.26? I'm not sure on the version numbers, but somewhere between 1.24 and 1.26. I haven't done any updates to 1.27 yet.

Then you don't need to do anything else but copying files.
