I'm aware your can add your currency but how exactly do you make it default so that the site open up with the currency and not in $

Even if I disable the $ it still used it.

Also see when on site with other browser it doesn't show online people? I'm sure it did work at one point..

Ok, so I've sorted this. I think important note in the documentation will help.

The "Code" will stay as USD but you will change the title and simbal for your local to be displayed as Default.
Then you can use your own country "Code" and create new currency and make that title and symbal $ to display the rates when selected. :p

    It's because of cookies, if you check your site with another browser you will see your new default currency.

    Thank you for your reply, however that doesn't seem to be correct as I've now used my phone browser for the first time and it still shows $.

    Currently local currency is set at 1.0000 and the other standard two with $ disabled also 1.0000.
