Of course I mean the quantity discount price. There is another problem too -with the search function. It shows the regular retail price and not discounted price.

I guess I must be more specific with this price issue.

Arastta manage 3 different prices: regular, special and quantity discount.

1.) Regular and special prices works perfect, with one exception. If the item do have a special price, the search dropdown will show the regular and not the special price. There should be shown the special price.

2.) This is the kicker and I don't know nobody figured this out yet. Might I'm the only one who uses quantity discount. It just do not function!!! Big issue!!!!!!!!!!
If a client select for example a quantity of 5 the price do not change to the necessary quantity discount price.

Herman, I can confirm the search price issue and opened an issue on GitHub https://github.com/arastta/arastta/issues/491 . However, I'm not able to understand where do you want the quantity discount price to be shown.

Change the quantty to 50 and you will see that the price in te card popup is not the discount price. Untill the checkout the system calculate and show in our case the special price.

I've figured out why the quantity discount price do not work.

The reason is, if you use special price, in this case the quantity discount price do not reduce the price for the quantity.

I've tested this excessive, if you do not use the special price the quantity discount price works fine.

I'm not able to anything in the code about that. However, if the order status after the payment is not in the processing or complete list of Arastta Settings then the quantity is added back.

It is not the quantity. It is the quantity discount price which is not taken from the list of the discount prices.

Please take a look at the screen shots! I've entered a quantity of 50. The related quantity price should be 37.60, but the discount price from 40.50 is taken. It works with the quantity price if you do not use discount price.

I'm sorry, I was a bit root, but sometimes it it boring not to fix for month a problem.

As I've said, if I do not use Special Price, the quantity special price function well.

Here are the screen shots how i setup the special and the discount price.

It should not madder if I use just the main or the special price, the quantity discount price should work on both.

If non of yours be able to fix this, please give me the folder and files related to "Quantity Discount Price" and I'll try to fix it myself.

I don't see how you think it should work, both are kind of discounts at the end of the day.
Anyhow, when you set a fixed amount special it surely will override the discounts. It's very seldom that you can combine both discounts and specials, unless each discount have support for a special price too, or the special is a percent supporting quantity discounts - nor is it a normal requirement as far as I can understand. But we can agree on disagreeing I suppose ...

If you like to pretend they are on sale, try to add a discount price for 1 too.

I've deleted the special price and added 1 with the special price to quantity discount price. In this case the quantity discount price function and the special price show up as regular price.This could be OK, but the eye catcher with the red old regular price is gone.

It should be the way neither if is a special price or not, the quantity discount price should work! To change this could not be a big issue.

If it's just a minor change, feel free to do it. I don't think it's minor, nor a normal requirement. But as said, we can agree on disagreeing. If the core team agree with you, they might fix it, when they have time and see it as important enough.

Regarding the "eye catcher", it could be added into the description or name too, with red bold font and strike through. Even as a badge, or directly on the product image. There are several ways to work around it if you need to add this "white lie".
