One reason why so many users have chosen MijoShop (and derivates) is the CMS functionality.
To come away from such solutions it would be fine to have following:

1. text categories (unlimted)
2. text archive
3. frontend module
4. button to add products / categories into text
5. a setting to add this text also into the header (like categories have)

There are already such modules at the OC-store but having that functionalities native in Arastta would give the systen a boost.

    Agree with simple CMS features but we need more contributors in order to start such a task.

    I really put importance on that and it's on my to-do list, Arastta must have a simple content management system to let users create blog posts and publish them in modules etc... But as Denis stated we need more help and time for that.
    I hope we can implement it as soon as possible.

    I agree. I was searching for many eCommerce software online and I hardly find suitable yet. Now I use Opencart but it is a pain in the @ss. It lacks of basic features and users have to "hack it" to add some extra feature. This Arastta looks promising and I see there is already an option to add a menu link to the navbar. It is awesome.
    I've read here that Arastta wants to be more like a CMS. I think many user would think of adding a news or blog or article (or call it whatever you want) it a very basic functionality.
    Adding this feature should be high priority. I also miss Stripe payment gateway.

    More or less in line with this. Denis are you considering replacing the OC part of Mijoshop with Arastta? That might be a blessing since the OC2-version is so horrendous slow in Mijoshop?

    @Imre
    Arastta is moving forward every day and new features/improvements being applied. Feel free to vote for this feature ;) http://arastta.org/ideas/idea/18

    @Leo
    Welcome first. We don't have such a plan as that will make the Arastta community think that they're spending their time for a commercial product.

    Well with all respect Denis, Mijoshop is horrendous with it's current OC 2.x OC version and you might want to reconsider that.

    btw what do I have to do here to get emails of you replying to messages? I do not get any notifications?

    I've got mail notifications on all replies here, so nothing wrong with the mailing system, unless it's something that makes it easily caught as spam on some services. :)

    Thank you for the update, I also confirmed that all mails are sent. So marking those mails as not-spam is what you can do, and then we will see what Google does :)

    Regards.
