Hi,

I'm quite new to Arastta but have used OC2 before.
I'm not sure if I missed something, but cannot find the way to customize my categories for Google Merchant. In OC you have to upload a txt file with Google taxonomies, and then you can assign a Google taxonomy to each one of your store's categories.
In Arastta I only found the option to enable/disable Google Base extension, so all categories are wrong in the feed (since they are my store's ones, not the ones specifically required by Google).

I've been looking all around the admin panel without success :(

You're right guys, this must be added to the core. I don't think we could get it ready for 1.3 but will apply to the next versions (1.3.1 etc).

Yes, it was added after Arastta was born, being available from OC 2.1: https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues/3228
This should be done for Arastta too, should be reasonable simple to merge it if anybody feels for it.

OK, I haven't used that feature and uploading of txt file. Where is that txt file uploaded, and then, where is the mapping set - in OC 2+?

My guess is that it has been added to OC after the work on Arastta was started, else it should be there if it was a core feature.

What I explained above is in OC core, not in a 3rd party extension. Mapping is not an advanced feature: it's required by Google. Without it, the GBase extension is useless (unless you have the same category structure as google taxonomies).
Since arastta is based in OC, I supposed it would also be in core.

I'm not sure, but maybe you will need a extension if you need mapping and other advance features: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension&filter_download_id=37&filter_search=google%20merchant%20data
