Hi,

I have imported a category structure into Arastta from another store. It has approx 20 top-level categories, each with approx 10 sub-categories, some of which have another level of sub-category.

If I want to add a category to the top-menu using the menu builder then it seems I must add all child categories manually.

Is it possible to create a hierarchical category menu automatically from a given starting category using the menu builder?

thanks,
Martin.

    It only appears to allow 2 levels of categories and sub-categories.
    I ask this in the past but hadn't received an answer.

    Far as I can get to work is:

    Category
    >sub-category
    >sub-category
    Category
    >sub-category
    >sub-category

    Couldn't create any sub-sub-categories.

    @Breck - You're kind-of right...

    You *can* nest more than 2 levels at the back-end by adding your lowest-level children first then working backwards, but the front-end won't pick this up so there's no point (though presumably the theme could be modified to implement the extra levels?).

    What I would like to be able to do is automatically generate a nested menu from a specified category without having to do it manually but I guess I'll need to write a module for that.
