As per our roadmap, Arastta 1.1 is planned to be released in August 2015 http://arastta.org/roadmap

After an intensive work of 1+ month with our Development Team, today we're happy to publish the Release Candidate #1:

We've decided to name this release with the city name of where Brett and Hayden lives, Wellington, due to their valuable contributions. Thanks guys.

This release includes a lot of cool new features, improvements and bug fixes:

- Option to select the DB driver during installation

- Fix XSS vulnerability in add to cart function

- SEO URLs break when there are no url aliases in DB
- Missing validation for order edit/delete
- Issue with root folder when installing extensions
- Default layout shows up twice in list

    Maybe I was unclear, and you misunderstood me. The system is not updated, the footer displays it's 1.0.8 after doing this update, even if it told it was successfully updated. Or do you mean it's normal that we can't test the update system?

    That is more than normal Rune as 1.1 has not been released officially yet.

    Not directly but there is a workaround:

    1) Open files under the "system/cache" folder until you find the following content:
    s:4:"core";s:5:"1.0.8"

    2) Change it with the following
    s:4:"core";s:5:"1.1.0"

    3) Go to Update page and proceed.
