One reason why so many users have chosen MijoShop (and derivates) is the CMS functionality.
To come away from such solutions it would be fine to have following:
1. text categories (unlimted)
2. text archive
3. frontend module
4. button to add products / categories into text
5. a setting to add this text also into the header (like categories have)
There are already such modules at the OC-store but having that functionalities native in Arastta would give the systen a boost.

I agree. I was searching for many eCommerce software online and I hardly find suitable yet. Now I use Opencart but it is a pain in the @ss. It lacks of basic features and users have to "hack it" to add some extra feature. This Arastta looks promising and I see there is already an option to add a menu link to the navbar. It is awesome.
I've read here that Arastta wants to be more like a CMS. I think many user would think of adding a news or blog or article (or call it whatever you want) it a very basic functionality.
Adding this feature should be high priority. I also miss Stripe payment gateway. -

@Imre
Arastta is moving forward every day and new features/improvements being applied. Feel free to vote for this feature http://arastta.org/ideas/idea/18
@Leo
Welcome first. We don't have such a plan as that will make the Arastta community think that they're spending their time for a commercial product. -
