    What is Softaculous ?

The Softaculous auto-installer allows the installation of web applications with the click of a button. A wide variety of applications are available to be easily installed, including web portals, e-commerce solutions, content management systems, blogs, polls, forums and more. Softaculous can take over the installations of other auto-installers. Softaculous also has an easy-to-use backup feature, allowing for the backup of installations at anytime.

Softaculous is included free with Shared accounts, and is available on Linux VPS and Dedicated servers running either cPanel or Plesk.

Is'nt it the fact, that installations via Plesk etc. are made mostly with outdated packages/versions?
How will this be handled by Arastta - had not the time already to go deeper into Softaculous, but I guess that Arastta will be the maintainer of such packages?
Just to avoid old instalaltions, otherwise I will disable that for my customers on my servers.

Sorry Denis, maybe I was not clear about what and how I have asked.

Softaculous may fast, but how do they know that a new package is released?
So I guess someone of Arassta is doing that - or am I wrong?

They do check for the updates on daily basis.

We have also sent them REST API info for version check:
