A selector that allows Hide/Show dashboard modules to better manage the visible elements of the dashboard

Generally there should be a mechanism/function added to hide/display per user/usergroup modules, links, etc. I have done such for OC 1.5.x (internal mod, given away to a few customers only). That could be mixed together?
