I think it should be possible to install a new shop without demo data, for a faster start for experienced users. Thus demo data should be selectable in installer. But it could also be useful to have a option to clear the shop, reset it to new empty state after testing with own or demo data, like t.ex. VirtueMart has in their toolbox.
