Customer fields to remove or hide per customer group

I think that some of the default fields should be removed, because they are not needed for all, and they could rather be added as custom field by those needing them. This would also give the store owner the needed control on witch customer groups they should display and be required for. And having less fields by default reduce the abandoned carts/registrations. The fields I have in mind is Fax, Company and Address 2 Another option instead of removing them would be to let the shop owner control all the default fields for each customer group, the same way as being able to control this for custom fields now (display/require). Btw! In the Nordic countries we normally don't need to display the Region / State, and if delivering to one country only there is no need to display the country select neither...

If this cant be done via admin panel, can someone let us know what code to change/remove?

There are too many fields that I dont need (like company, address 2, city, post code country and region) 

This is the only thing left thats stopping me from going live!

Anyhow, I'm working on it. If we can't get it into core, I'll make it a modification and adds it to the Marketplace.
So either you'll get it in 1.4+, or during next week, i think. ;)

Forgot to follow up on this ... it can't be changed in Arastta 1.x core, as it would break compatibility with extensions etc. - I was told. So it has to wait for Arastta 2.x or something I guess. Maybe I still do some mod later, but it doesn't have any high priority.

Yes many required fields to fill and almost no need if selling stuffs which no need shipping or real address.

Hope this can be done via Admin CP asap.

Doan, if you sell products without need for shipping, simply set their setting for 'Requires Shipping' to 'No': https://arastta.org/docs/user-manual/catalog/products/data
