I'm writing to ask whether Arastta has a certain function. I don't know a word for this, so I'll describe what I have in mind. (In any event, it's common, so you'll know what I'm looking for.)

On many online shop websites, you choose from a variety of options (e.g. brand, price range, colour, etc.), and then the site lists those products that correspond to the options you've selected. You then can select from this 'short list' the specific product you want.

My question: does Arastta have a function like this? Thank you.

Hi Marvin,

We think you may mean this method of filtering:-

https://arastta.org/docs/user-manual/catalog/filters

https://www.fastcomet.com/tutorials/arastta/product-filters

If this is not adequate for all of your requirements you would be able to add your own custom version directly as it will be similar to sort by brand (manufacturer) or when using the "search" you can change the "default" filter to "Name A-Z" , "Price Low- High" etc.

Regards,

If you want to make it a bit more advanced you could also look at Brainy Filter:

    Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'll only glanced through the pages you mention, but this does seem to be the sort of thing we're looking for.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Best regards,
